“ Absolutely wonderful, have been going here since I was born, best food in the town, and ice cream. Sometimes won’t pick up the phone but it’s okay. The lady that is the main manager has seen me grow up my entire 16 years of life. ”
“ Best ice cream in the state of Louisiana! Always friendly great food you won't ever find a place like it ”
“ The perfect small town creamery. There is a reason they have been open this many decades. Great burger too if you aren't in a hurry. Truly cooked to order. ”
“ I've been passing through here since I was a kid & look fwd to it every time!!!!! I get a corn dog with chili, cheese and onions. Yes! A corn dog (not a hot dog)! And bc I don't come as often as I used to, I get a raised brow each time. LMBO!!!! Add to that a side of onion rings & a strawberry shake!!! They got the best soft serve in the entire world!!!! ”
“ Best ice cream ever. Every I come home to visit Louisiana I have to stop there. ”
“ We absolutely love this place, I thought I did a review on this not long ago but I guess I did not. I don’t get to make it out this way very often, but when I do, I have to remember to bring cash because that’s all they accept. Normally I wouldn’t go out of my way to to inconvenience myself for such a luxury. However, this is a childhood staple of mine. We mainly get the ice cream, how can you not. I only get a stop by about once every couple years, but when I do, it brings back so many memories. As long as the door stay open, and I happen to be in the neighborhood, you better believe I’ll be there! ”
“ We went because of the yogurt style ice cream. Very good to everyone with me. Not great for me, but I like regular vanilla milk shakes. Order at the window, and take it with you. There was a shaded area to sit, but weren't eating. People were very nice also ”
“ Wonderful burger joint with nostalgic, soft-serve ice cream machine. Large menu, low prices, covered picnic-table area, and great food! Burger buns are super soft, variety of fries, lovely employees. Two can eat for 10, 14 with desert . Quaint!!! I really enjoyed stopping here on our Sunday afternoon drive. Lots of locals there, too, so you know it's good! If you have a motorcycle, convertible, or jeep, there are lots of canopied sections of Hwy 80 from Monroe to Merouge and looping back thru I-20. It also smells nice... ”
